Off and Running

My husband and I haven't vacationed together regularly for reasons like children, animals, and conflicting schedules but now we find that things have changed! So off we go to visit our daughter ALF! We arrive only 1 hour before departure time (bad travelers but it is 6:00am and we live 1 1/2 hours from the airport) so I say we need to move. We check in at the curb and move quickly to the security check in with 45 minutes to spare! All of a sudden the security people annouce in loud stern voices every leave the security area and get out of the building and proceed to either check in points a block away but you must leave the building! I was amazed everyone did not panic but moved quickly with no complaining or question asking. We later found out that there had been a suspicious package found so the bomb squad/dogs were called into action. As were a moving at a slow trot from the building and down the street my husband says we are off and running! We did make our flight and the rest of our trip was uneventful!

Our dogs vacationed in Holmdel with their Aunt Barbara and as evidenced by the picture they aren't missing us very much!
